Alexandros's Week 2 Homework

  1. I especially like the third photograph with only reflections. The blue tree reflected on the right looks as though it has been painted.

The fence curves out of the photo in a eye bending way. The narrow depth of field adds to the effect. The colours are allvery harmonious in that photograph

  2. The fence in your second photograph has attractive reflecting properties and texture. I wondered how it would be if you had a bit more fence and less background - keeping the reflecting water in the picture. The plinth adds interest too.

  3. Ok, I give up. What's your theme?

I like #3 where the swirls in the water look like the water is made of something harder that has been bashed with a hammer.

The fence on #5 (with the trig. point) leads your eye - there's something odd about this. Maybe it's the "negative space" on the *right*. Somehow feels like I want to see round the corner or move.

You did ducks! (geese? something bigger?) You're brave! ;-) Stunning light on the ripples, great shadows. Did you try shots with more water and less sky? The bench at the side is a bit distracting - I think a detail of that photo from the bottom right just up to the tops of the black trees would highlight the light on the water.

I like the woman gardening. She looks relaxed and happy. I can clearly see the Golden Spiral there, too.
