ReplyDeleteMy first thought looking at that second photograph, is that the two heads are echoed by the lamp and the dome, the verticals are linked by the diagonal. It is such an interesting composition with the dark heads against the pale cityscape behind them.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo seems to me to have been inspired by the paining 'Afternoon at la grande jatte'. Again, the composition is fascinating, the people, the bank, the water and the boat. The activities and dress of the people bring a smile.
