  1. Some lovely images I like your use of motion and colour, I think it’s my taste but I am not keen on images that look like they have been processed for the colour like the lake and leaf, they have a feel of that gimmick software you can get that will pick a colour out like you see in some wedding images with B&W image but the bouquets is colour.

You have a really good sense of texture that the hands show off so well, they are amazing I love how all of the lines show up so clearly, glad you did not have the rings in colour ;0)

With the sleeping children this is such a good idea and gives a lovely feeling.

I love the light on the boat and the birds (they look almost supernatural).

    1. Thanks, Steve

Well the lake image was desaturated slightly, because greens can get too strong, so that's true.

*But the leaf is completely natural*. A standard JPEG as it came from the camera. A genuine decisive moment! Also, our wedding rings are silver... :-P

My first born baby was 1 day old there and his sleeping Mum definitely deserved that sleep.

  2. Oh bother - I commented on this earlier but must have lost it! Hope I can remember my first impressions. I love the starlings - that had to be a sunset - you have caught the swirling effect really well.

Your family shots are wonderful, the family of hands nested together and the sleeping baby with the sleeping mother - good moment

Those drops of water caught in the spider-web with their individual reflections are perfectly focussed - very fascinating as are the watery reflections.

That huge rock is emphasised by the contrast with the trees on the horizon in the first photo

  3. Great set of photos, the fire juggling and leaf are impressive. Like how you managed to capture the clouds, give is a magical feel. Would like to know what the 3rd from the bottom is - the red and blue in water, canoe?
