Love the slide. Sun shininess makes it look flowing like the wave it represents.
If those towels were taken by Gursky you'd be rich. I like the textures. Makes me think of bath time (although my towels are usually found strewn around on doors etc. not neatly folded like yours!)
Light interesting on staircase.
Crystal ball thing is taken from good angle - good perspective.
Struggled to be able to make time to dedicate to the theme this week but I am happy with the results, 4 of the 10 pictures here are taken with my mobile phone, so it does prove you don’t need a posh camera to get good shots.
The impression that this group of photos made on me was of clarity and simplicity and great colour, I liked your use of a shallow depth of field in the photos with the wrought iron, the glove and the sponge. There are interesting colour combination effects in the photos of the slide, the spade?, the bowl on grass and the immaculately folded towels.
Steve, the deep colours work well and made interesting simple pictures stand out. The dangling glass bowl is something that captures my eye as I like to see how it distorts the sky behind it and give a different perspective.
