The First and last photos strike me because of their simplistity but also the contrast between the different colours. The cadel is an every day object but taken like that give it a totally different perspective, like an ornement.
It’s the bottom of my home cinema speaker and the lines in the background are DVDs on a shelf, I needed to make it black and white because the colours of the DVD spines were distracting and took focus from the main object.

ReplyDeleteHi. Love the Eden-like geodesic dome thing at no.1 - really interesting and has such a glowing quality.
ReplyDeleteGreat texture on the old bricks.
The heart-shaped mobile (?) is taken at a good angle - very pleasing to my eyes.
Penultimate one has me guessing - what is it?! It's interesting and I like the streaky blurred background.

DeleteThe hearts are lovely - great focus contrast which adds interest to it.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflections in the chandelier. I tried that but rejected my own attempt
The nails catch the light well - I'd have liked to have seen a hand or nose moulded to emphasise that even more.
You have found lots of interesting angles - they add interest to everyday things.
